I jumped right over to talk show USA, Rich(P), and enjoyed the Cigar Dave's St. Patricks Show where he got a tour of the history of Irish spirits including hard stuff and beer, and he never sounded sloshed, so he's a real pro.
Interesting shows on there.
Here's a novelty program with a large archive, the Shirley & Spinoza Show, I think it's from the UK but they do a lot of American sound-clips and defy the law of radio gravity.
Not sure how you'd feel about non-partison reference to political and news issues, but Harry Schearer's weekly Le Show (The Show) is free to air from WWNO in New Orleans.
You may know that Mr. Schearer does many voices on The Simpsons.
His show is a rundown of the week's top news stories with a comical response that does not favor any side.
On this week's show he voiced a telephone call between father and son Presidents George Bush, and it is very funny, with boy George asking if he can paint his father's picture, and the senior Bush suggesting he check it out with Barbara.
John, way cool Subgenius Hour of Slack! I'm listening to the latest and BONUS-Jimi Hendrix!
Stuff I've never heard. It's Great!
I was listening to a well known streaming station.
I'm not going to memtion it because I don't think
their programs are available.
But it was two guys talking about their town, and
it was hillarious. I was laughing, and when they gave
out the phone number, I called with great enthusiasm.
Well, it was 9:AM on the east coast, here. They were
on the west coast but I didn't know that.
So it was about 6.AM there. I called and woke up a lady,
who had been sleeping. She was happy that I liked the
station, but she said she had to go back to sleep.
It was her husband's station, and they were just running
a recording. I guess they shouldn't have had the phone
number on the "repeat" show.
Bruce, DOGRADIO
Hour of Slack really hit a chord with me. The guy even featured my cousins music, DEVO.
I should be able to pick up WCBS 89.3 as they're just north of my location about 10 miles.
