Well as fate would have it we had a technical problem with the stream but it's back online now.

Time for another LIVE concert from Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio River Front IROK Concert Series.

Tonights headliner is "Floyd - The Tribute".  The opener is "I Fight Fail".

Show starts at 6pm EDT, headliner at 7:30.  A local music school has their talent perform between acts - 7:00 to 7:30.

This is the 7th concert in the series and doing the live show gets a little easier each time.

I'm using TeamSpeak Client 3 as my STL to get the audio to the transmitter.  I am using a Behringer 6 channel mixer, 2 condensor mics for the commentators and 2 dynamic mics for crowd sound.  The front of house mixer provides a mono feed off his board which I mix with the crowd mics for a live stereo effect.  There is also an Audio Technica wireless for crowd/talent interviews.

There was a problem last week with the USB sound card at the transmitter which failed the online stream audio but it was corrected about half way through the show.  Hopefully it will cooperate tonight.  It's working now...

Check it out at   WCFI-LP 96.1 FM streaming live TONIGHT.

Success!  Everything went well and the bands were fantastic.

Most Important my boss co-hosted.  He loves being on mic.  If he's happy the station grows.

Next week is Festiva Italiana and I think he wants to do the Friday live show.  There will be a great Beatles cover band, Hard Days Night, on the main stage so if you like Beatles tunes, tune in.

The next live IROK Concert broadcast will be July 24th.

Bob, you have very quickly made WCFI-LP a true community station.

Soon we'll have a few of your special programs relayed on KHZ AM 1640 the AMT3000 Indoor Experimental Antenna Station from over here by the Mississippi River.

Downriver from Tim the crisp clear rock song is arriving at the Internet Building with excellent quality at 10:10 PM CDT.

Oh, I must be too late for the live concert, I just heard Atrain announce "This is Free Thinker Radio."

Wow. Amazing.

Well ......weak.
I mean really, they have a 3 watter here and it hardly has a live person on the air. Ever!
Your programming is great.

Nice sounding station Bob. Well done.

TheLegacy and Rock95seven, thanks for the kind words.

Doing the Live Remotes is a hoot!  The IROK Concert Series will run a few more weeks and then I'll start rebroadcasting edited versions of the concert in 1 hour blocks.

The High School will start their new Broadcast curriculum this year.  The first semester will be all classroom work learning about the industry and equipment.  Second semester the students will start running the show during school time.  The details have not been worked out yet.

Football season starts soon and perhaps I'll be doing live remotes of the high school games.  Yet to be determined.

For now the station runs mostly automated using ZaraRadio.  TeamSpeak is used for the live remotes.

I'll have to cook up a QSL card for the station!
