Where is the nearest property line within sight of your location? If it is reasonably near by, think about contacted the property owner over on that side of the borderline and explain that you’d like to put an antenna right on the edge of their property. Maybe something can be worked out.
Then you’d get the signal over there by sending it on a studio-transmitter-link (STL), either FM, 49mHz or 900mHz, and put a solar collector on top or use a battery.
Maybe there’s a nearby flat roof-top that would allow a more secure location.
Probably most larger stations can’t have their antennas right at the studio, so you would be doing what they do…. relaying the programming to a remote transmitter site.

Great idea Carl. That would be cool if i knew my neighbors here, heck they are even on higher ground too which would help a lot.
On another note, i have been playing with an extension cord with a coil as an inductor for a carrier current station on medium wave.
So far so good. It works rather well. Many thanks to RFB for the idea from another post. My SSTran is feeding a nice clean signal through out the house. I haven’t checked out on the road or by car but it is a nice sounding station here in the house and that’s a start.

Now that is a cool system.
I could see many possible uses for the Falcon Plus, one cool use would be use 2 sets of these to communicate between two houses or offices on a private line rather than relying on the internet and a IM program like Yahoo Instant Messenger.
Of course the intended use would be great for part 15 STL’s. I could see using it as a security system too.
Now if i had all the money the government keeps taking from me and my wife… lol
