Greetings.
I have acquired a Radio Systems CP-15 Coupler, and was wondering if anyone had experience connecting one? It seems straightforward.
Does it need to connect to a 220? Or can it go to neutral on a 110?
Any caveats or ideas on how to test signal strength?

I also have a CP-15 which I've never used, I do my CC (Carrier Current) with an LPB TCU-30 which is much the same.
I would feel confident that you can do neutral injection with CP-15.
For a useful look at field strength I recommend a TECSUN PL-310 or certain similar radios that have a nice Field Strength read-out in dBu.
For unknown reason my system did not load well into the 220... I was unable to lower the standing wave. Works great with neutral-injection.
Another bizarre fact of my CC setup is that the lowest AM frequencies did not act very efficiently as expected. Instead I found best result in mid-dial area.
Awesome - thank you; so you just did neutral injection on the ground of a common 110 outlet?
Neutral Injection
mlr asks: "So you just did neutral injection on the ground of a common 110 outlet?"
No sir. That is not what I did. Let me explain.
A brick-mason that was tuck-pointing for me was available to pound an 8-foot copper rod into the dirt near a basement window alongside the power panel. The rod was several feet away from the electric company's ground rod.
I drilled a hole between cinder-blocks (foundation wall) and ran a very heavy copper-braid wire clamped to my ground rod and connected to the TCU-30 Ground Connection.
Added a heavy braided copper wire to one leg (out of 3) of the TCU-30 output screws and connected that to the Neutral Buss in the Electric Panel.
There is an LPB Tech Sheet telling "How To", and if I can locate a link I will add it to this thread.
There is also a Carrier Current Paper floating around telling a slightly different approach, which I will also try to link.
Give me the weekend to work on it.
