Still goofed up here on Explorer (which IMO is a piece of cow dung anyway) and Chrome, which are both goofed up in the same way. However all appear normal on Firefox on all machines, and Safari on my studio iMac.

Weird ... looks like for some reason scripts are failing to be read, or failing to load, on Explorer and Chrome.

Are you keeping CSS stuff on other servers which are somehow being ignored by Explorer and Chrome?

Hope that info can help you nail down the problem(s).

thanks!
I'm trying to track stuff down, and this will help! weird, i see no issues with both chrome and safari, here on my laptop and at work on my desktop. so your input is quite valuable 🙂

I think I know what it might be... let me try something.

Yesterday I reported that things were messed up on the site, but since then everything has been very normal.

Using Firefox, I cannot notice any problems.

Small Note: Since there are (or were, I don't have a PC handy, but I will in a few minutes) issues with different browsers, when you report you should indicate which machines, OS, and browsers are in play. I'm guilty of ignoring those things too sometimes, but since I mostly use Macs, I usually make a point of describing ... unless I'm just sleepy or something.

On my site, I notice on some browsers elements are thrown left, ignoring some centering code, and also the Links page is screwy on Explorer, but not others. Guess I'll have to hard-code element positions in a style sheet ... sigh ... 🙁

Guess I'll have to hard-code element positions in a style sheet ...

You'd have a much easier time of it using tables.
Did those problems just start?

As for here:
The problem here lasted about 24 hours, and then everything was fine and still is now.
These are the computers I tried accessing the site on, all with errors.
XP sp3 on Gateway 600YG2 laptop - IE & Seamonkey
XP sp2 on IBM Net Vista, - IE & Seamonkey
XPsp2 on a Dell Inspiron laptop.- IE, Firefox & Seamonkey
XP ? on a Gateway desktop - IE & Firefox

But here an odd thing; different pages were effected in different browsers - a page that appeared fine in one browser would be scrambled in another, and visa versa.
Clearing caches, cookies, and history did nothing to correct the problem. The problem lasted here about 24 hours and then it was gone.

If nothing has changed in the page structures of part15.us then it indicates that something outside has changed. Gut tells me it's related to the server activity through the web.. servers refreshing, updating.. maybe it's somehow related to what's in the news... maybe, who knows.

It seems when I first posted the problem, everyone else said it was working fine, but now everyone seems to have problems, but mine is fine.
- I bet by tomorrow yours will correct itself also.

Different servers, different schedules.. doing something

Thanks for the feedback all... I'm going to re-enable the offsite accelerators and see what happens. 🙂

All early pages rendered fine just now, Firefox on XP, but when I select REPLY the reply page is scattered like a windstorm.

Something somewhere is still goofed.

Since my first notices of the annomoly, I have had no further problems.

I've not cleared any cache.

Firefox is a total no-go. The site loads, but after a few seconds the screen goes white and a perpetual download bar hangs on.

Right now I am here by IE, and the page format is very scattered around the room.

Good luck unscrambling the eggs.
