Hi Everyone,

This is an idea I've had for a while.

I think a fun way to beat the summer doldrums would be to give us a snippet of your legal ID or some of your station sound!

I'll upload something from NEXTGEN FM tonight!

i guess we could link to a sound file recording of our station.

upload to a server and link to it.

record it from an actual radio though!

Whatever Happened to the Geoff Filipiak Show? I was planning on doing part of my program responding to things said on the Filipiak Show, but it stopped happening. The fun went away.

well, i got married, and we used the microphone during the wedding for a classical music piece

and i thought i had lost it

and it turned up in the wife's luggage

go figure! but yes, now that i have it back, get ready for another blast of filipiak

(that sounded good!)

Fabulous, Geoff!!

Very wonderful about your new married life!

And good, too, that your show will arise yet again.

Why don't you just listen? My internet station is on the air 24-7 (as in right now) except for Sunday @ Midnight (PDT) when I update software and purge junk ... although it's just NOAA Puget Sound Weather between 12:00am-9:30am. Check my Google calendar available on the Program Schedule page.

Maybe I don't quite understand what you want ...

Air check your station.
If I understand correctly, grab a radio hook it up to a recording device and record your station as it would sound to the average joe tuning in. Record directly from a radio and upload it to a server so that we can hear what it would sound like if we were in your town tuning in for the first time.

Correct? If i am wrong then i had better cancel that air check. It could break the bank. lol

Geoff,

here are the videos of our "test" run of our AM transmitter. It is ONLY a test which should get clearer and better once we permanently mount and ground the transmitter. Station Ids, announcements, etc. will be coming soon!

Here are the complete 5 part short videos of the 3 block radius test of the transmitter on a hilltop and tree filled terrain. Enjoy and share the videos with others!
