The ARRL Evolution of Amateur Radio Exhibit

So, if you lok at the pictures you'll see a vintage setup on loan from rocker Joe Walsh (who is not only a ham but also a spokesperson for Heil microphones.  I actually talked to Joe on the radio once a few years ago) but the station setup there is also in my basement.  I have that same Johnson transmitter and National receiver set up too.  I rarely use it because it takes up so much desk space that it winds up buried under other smaller equipment and general stuff that it's hard to get to! Even have that same mic (it's a Heil) but on a different stand.  Keen!
