I just ordered an ATU as well.
and by golly it did cost $352 after I was bent over and slammed by shipping. (USPS was still the cheapest, but $50+)
Last time USPS was used it arrived within two days of it actually shipping.
So hopefully I'll get the ATU by next week.
Apparently the ATU purchase DOES come with the Antenna and coax. something I did not know, but was grateful for.
I'll let ya know how mine works when I get it!
Though I don't have the Talkinghouse, mines actually the new I.AM.radio transmitter.
The LCD is still green though, not blue like I thought.
The audio is actually pretty good, just keep the lows down or it distorts like a monster.
But overall audio is better than the older TH units.
it hurts to spend the money on shipping , but I think it is about the only way to go with the Talking house ..
