just setting up sstran amt5k with the included wire antenna grounding it to coax and plugin in wall with supplied psu and an ipod using on board nrsc and compressor yielded very good results.

i had it tuned to 800 khz at i beleive 100mw (or close enough) and it sounded better (and had significantly more range) then my hamilton at 1700 khz at 100mw with external processing.

not a true scientific test but the result are indeed promising. the initial test verifies that it has come back from sstran in operational order at least.

sometime over the next few weeks i will hopefully get to do a more scientific and accurate test between the two.

i am having surgery to remove wires from my elbow monday that were put in back in march when i wrecked my bike.

my personal nurse who is also my xyl says i am not to move from the bed after the surgery till she tells me to and im not to have so much as a laptop in the bed with me lol

so i wont be doing much for probably a week.

You are being well cared for by your personal nurse and we will all follow her instructions by waiting patiently until she gives you the go-ahead to conduct scientific testing with the AMT5000.
