I did notice that, just today. I guess since their ads are all from that G company, they went with them as their map provider too? The old maps are fine though, and you can still get them with a link down below the new map.
I remember when Radiolocator didn't have ads, and you'd look up a few dozen radio stations and they'd cut you off for a day! I saw more potential in the site, like having bios on stations, that seemed to be where they fell down for me.
