Such a policy would further destroy an already smashed economy. This would not only affect individuals, but 2nd hand vendors (pawn shops/flea markets/online markets).
It's all like the layers of an onion. Each layer below the previous is just a tad bit more sour, till the center is reached, the most sour part of it all.
What a shame. Eventually such a policy will directly affect broadcasting as well. It would not surprise me if the policy would go as far as expecting people to fork out more for each individual invited over to watch the football game or pay a penalty because more than one person watched said game on the TV you don't own inside the house you don't own using the electricity you pay for but don't own recording it on the blu-ray deck which you don't own scarfing down pizza and washing it all down with a cold one, none of which would be owned.

Something kc8gpd said made me think of this...
We have talked a lot about providing emergency service using our part 15 radio stations.
Come to think of it, the dangerous things being done by government IS an emergency situation!
Who should raise the alarm and speak out about it more than radio services?
but putting this stuff on a part 15 station is a big no no. they can't shut you down for content but does not mean they won't find another reason to shut you down because of your content.
Such a policy would further destroy an already smashed economy. This would not only affect individuals, but 2nd hand vendors (pawn shops/flea markets/online markets).
that is most likely the intention. the banks and rich and powerful have been trying to find a way back into and to destroy this country ever since the declaration of independence was signed and we kicked them out over 200 years ago.
A new member located in New Zealand was telling us about their low power FM rules, which are considerably more relaxed than ours. There seems to be no problems over there with allowing 1 watt erp on the low and upper portion of the band.
Now if it can work fine there, why not here?!
There is only one reason...POLITICS!!!
ARGGHH!!! :/
RFB
An imaginary politician said, "Don't bother me, I've got it made for life. I don't need you riff raff. Oh good, here's the limo. Steak again tonight?"
The most ridiculous thing I have ever heard a politician say was just recently about the Builderberg stuff and this politician who was being interviewed by an independent news reporter said to the reporter "No I have never heard of it so it does not exist".
Amazing isn't it...to just say you never heard of something and therefore it does not exist.
The politician also said that as a race, we are too stupid to come up with conspiracies that actually work, but we are smart enough to realize that stupidity answers all the questions about everything that does not exist.
Like I said..are any of them worth paying attention to?!!
I predict that by March 2013, a lot of folks are gonna realize they been had once again.
Yes...WE CAN!

Well RFB, I didn't hear the guy say that, therefore it was never said.
"I didn't hear the guy say that, therefore it was never said."
Amen ....
Ahem ... Since I also didn't hear it, nor know who the politician is ... then, taking another step, the politician doesn't exist either 😉
Maybe we need a year or do of Anarchy ... before the Return of the King.
The King is coming back!
I just learned on top of flying drones over us soil they are and have been getting people used to seeing the army walking down the streets state side along with staffing fema camps.
i'm sorry we are leaving the relm of back room xfiles tinfoil type paranoia and are seeing the realities to such a degree even the common john and jane q public can see it now.
our own government is turning on its people just like 1930's germany.
The expression "To the Victor Go the Spoils" has been proven
The U.S. was the Victor and the Nazis lost.
The U.S. now OWNS Naziism and is rolling it out.
The good part is we might have some great parades.
I really really really DON'T LIKE POLITICS
or anything connected with the subject.
However, I do VERY MUCH RESPECT that you guys have
the right to talk about it - and you should.
You definitely should talk about it.
But in my case - the subject makes me very depressed.
So in order to survive - I stay away from it. And I really
have to. My survival REALLY depends on it.
Again, you guys keep doing what you're doing.
You are very smart guys and you certainly are
entitled to talk you it. And I like all of you, so
it's your thing - no problem by me.
But I can't read the posts.
Best Wishes, and Respectfully,
Bruce, DRS2
I guess what I really mean is -
I can't read the posts, so I
can't participate in the
discussions. And I really LIKE
discussing things with you guys,
a lot.
So politics is out of bounds for
me. Anything else, especially
radio. That works for me.
And Rev. Robert, I really mean it
when I say that I hope your political
discussion group on Yahoo works out.
I'm very sorry I can't help you out
and be part of the group.
Very Best Wishes, And Respectfully,
Bruce, DRS2
Hearing Doggradio's frank feelings about political talk reminds me how complicated civil liberties can be.
On the one hand, one of the reasons some people start talking about politics is because they see liberty being taken away.
But the other side is that a free person can turn the other way and avoid messing with politics.
The situation is almost as bad as the idea that to keep peace you need to wage war.
As Lester "Roadhog" Moran once said, "I don't know. I don't know. I don't know."
