"First you say (Post 55): "For your information "sacrilegion" is an abstract fabrication and would be best expressed on a religious web forum. It has no appication in low power radio."
"Then you say: "Many part 15 stations delve into intellectual questions and they are not off limits here."
"So, Carl, which is it?"
That's easy to answer. The religion talk is anti-intellectual.
Part 15 and the factual subjects discussed are intellectual.
You have come on from the start as judgemental and so far contributed nothing to the constructive part 15 discussion.
You are trying to dictate how this website is run.
You are creating controversy.
Joe.
Mr. And Mrs. Carl H. Christ. Possibly related? Located near Saint Louis?
According to Cecil Adams, who pens the "Straight Dope" column in many city/alternative newspapers, the "H" in Jesus H. Christ stands for Harold.
We should have known this -- we've been saying it since childhood: "Our Father, who art in Heaven, Harold be thy name."
Darsen the Third, it was right in front of our face when we had our back turned... of course!! Very excellent! Harold be his name and he is his own father.
Druid Hills it is sad to say that Saint Louis was de-canonized a few years ago, it is now Louis, Missouri. They haven't yet re-printed the stationary.
Carl, you said: "You are trying to dictate how this website is run. You are creating controversy."
To quote you further, I have "..so far contributed nothing to the constructive part 15 discussion." I'll give you a chance to retract that, if you wish.
The fact is, Carl, I have started just 3 threads on the website--all about Part 15 equipment. All my other comments (less than 3 dozen) were in response to others posts.
Now, would you like to compare that with your endless posts about all kinds of things, including many, many non-part 15 comments?
Please explain to me and the others here just exactly how I am trying to dictate how this website is run and how I am 'creating controversy'?
Apparently you like to throw out any opinion you want, but have a really hard time dealing with someone who has a different opinion. You have a record and reputation of putting down those who disagree with you, as though yours is the only valid one. And you have the nerve to say that I am "trying to dictate how this website is run"? Really? Really, Carl?
Is this Rich?
Well, we'll assume "morningDJ" is a real person.
Under the name MorningDJ this was posted:

I have done forensic research into your activity here, and based on my findings I retract the claim that you have contributed nothing.
But you are being modest. You have posted more than you take credit for, and I look forward to exploring that subject in detail, but I can't now because lunch.
I'll save you the time--I've made 34 posts--which is less than 3 dozen that I mentioned.
And yes, I'm a real person--started in broadcasting back in 1962. Seen a lot...done a lot.
By publically stating "Please explain to me and the others here just exactly how I am trying to dictate how this website is run and how I am 'creating controversy'?" Mr. MorningDJ has invoked a public hearing.
Mr MorningDJ's phrasing sure reminds me of R. Fry.
As Transcendental Court Judge I must recuse myself in this matter, being also the accused.
The case will be heard in small increments from now through the month of August.
If a website Moderator closes this thread down the hearing will move to the forums at thealpb(dot)com under a thread titled MorningDJ vs. Carl Blare.
Because Mr. MorningDJ has influential friends the outcome has already been pre-determined... he will be found innocent of all charges made against me.
I love your humor, Carl. Very imaginative!
No trial is necessary, I have already rested my case.
Hello MorningDJ.
Your case remains active because you have leveled charges against a member of this website, and these must either be substantiated or withdrawn before resting.
We'll take a weekend recess and resume trial Monday, or, maybe Tuesday.
We're beginning to get along, though, I think.
I have a Tiddlywinks Tournament Monday and Tuesday.
I remember whebn I was young I was talking to my friends and my Mom was around. I poped the question that if I die and go to heaven how many Rock stations could I pick up there? Could I get a BIG transmitter and transmit from heaven to earth and play some good Rock. Yup I was into this stuff at 5 years old. I still remember asking that question. I even did it in school too a few times but I really wanted to know. People laughed at me when I asked it but still wanted to know. My theory was if heaven was a place above the earth that one should be able to Transmit a signal back to earth.
Just my thoughts about heaven. So who knows if that s even possible.
Rarely has a thread here become so off topic and so ridiculous.
