Bob Orban is a name synonymous with good audio quality.

His magic processor boxes became so legendary that a plain wire would sound better if it had the name "Orban" on it.

I wonder if the name Orban on an earth ground wire would impress Rich, so he wouldn't have the phobia about long ground leads?

I'd like to get some black jacketed wire and have "FCC" printed on it to use as a visible ground.

Bothe of those wire marking ideas are great!

If there was wire marked FCC / Orban I would go out of my way to have a long ground lead!

Laughter is one answer to the world's problems today, and I'm getting tears in my eyes.

Everyone likes to see their name in lights, so it's like "We're thinking of you". You're right, because that ground wire really has no interest to anyone else.

Think of how buzzwords are used in selling too, like I was out and saw a guy wearing headphones that said "Digital" on them, just the word Digital. Of course it means nothing in that case, the headphones are analog with voice coils, and yet it took an extra effort and some cost to print that on those phones! I haven't stopped laughing.
