There was some discussion of ZaraRadio going on at Facebook, and I mentioned that version 1.4.4 supports plugins whereas the newer versions did not, and tried to post a link to your site where they could download a copy.. But facebook poped up a window that would not allow me to, saying that 50webs was unsafe and to remove the 50webs link inorder formy post tobe submitted.. So I provided the zararadio.lownoiserecords.com link instead.
My website is hosted on 000webhost.com - I use them cause it's free hosting, (I'm assuming 50webs is too) but recently I found out that ATT has now blocked all websites hosted by 000webhost.. meaning that anyone who uses an ATT internet connection can not access my site (amonst thousands of the others)...
Well, I got around the problem by routing my domain through cloudflare.com before it goes to 000webhost - Although I don't exactly understand how it works, it did fix the problem and it didn't cost anything.
However, now I'm using the free wifi of the bar next door, and it's ATT, so although I can now pull my site up just fine, I can't access the file manager it to edit it! What a joke. Well I'll have to change hosting soon anyway (I think) to incorperate streaming
Well this was certainly off topic.. didn't mean to go on so long, hope it didn't bore the crp out you. Just wanted to mention facebook would not allow a link to your website.
I have AT&T Uverse and no problem accessing the site from home. At work I'm able to access it no problem through a different service.
I have had some email problems where my AT&T email would reject certain email providers. The best example is my ALPB email is not passed by AT&T. It is hosted by this site!
I'll try sending my webpage link and link to the ZaraRadio installer on my website using my AT&T email service as I believe this is what you were trying to do. We'll see if it is blocked.
If I can figure out how to do it on Facebook, I'll try that too.
OK. So I went to my Facebook page and posted a link to the ZaraRadio installer found on my website. Seemed to work OK.
Funny thing though. When I tried to go to your website, End80Radio, I got blocked by a capcha code. It said my IP was on a block list but the IP it listed wasn't my IP address.
I put the capcha code in and it told me to try again in a minute. So of course I tried again immediately and went right to your website. By the way, nice looking website.
So anyway, I'm not sure who's playin' games. Let me know if anything else weird happens.
Mram, just to clarrify, I never said there was a problem with ATT and your site.. I was talking about my own site.
I tried posting a link to your webpage at
and it would not let me do it.
As for geting blocked by a capcha code on my site.. I can't imagine how that could be, it's certainly nothing I implimented.. nor anything I ever experienced.. was it your browser itself that provided a capcha box?? Are we talking about at end80radio.com? -- Where did the capha appear? Was it from clicking the link from my profile here ?
strange strange strange..
I can actually tell you about the reason behind the "facebook popup"; the weird ip address showing in the stopforumspam.com redirect could be a bad install of the plugin on someones wordpress or other cms (i only mention wordpress because that and phpBB/smf are the popular ones with plugins for it)
The thing with 00webhosting, 50webs, and any of the free web hosting is that since they are free, they are a playground of illicit activity. It is way easier for the processing system in some sites that protect against known evil to block the whole of the hosting service.
And it isn't all of the domains provided by these services.. but once someone starts bhaving badly from one of them, they block it all - not just [evildoerHostname].whatever.com bit anything.whatever.com...
I find these pop up from time to time in our corp firewalls, i just look at what caused it and block that single host... *shrug*
