I finally did hear back from the original poster in this thread. Perhaps it will work out after all.

And I don't see anything wrong with someone posting their negative experience with a company.  There may be explanations, but it's also a valid data point.  One I certainly would want to be aware of.  And how is it starting rumors if it actually happened?

And I also concur with his statement about the ProCaster and ChezRadio.  Professionals all the way and they respond very quickly.

I'd also have to say the same thing for the manufacturer of the Decade Part 15 FM transmitter.  Professional all the way.  In fact, I even got a response on a Sunday when I was setting up a transmitter.

The fact that those two companies are in Canada is just a coincidence 🙂

[Edited to add: By the way, I've never dealt personally with SSTran, and I've only dealt with Hamilton briefly, but he seemed responsive, at least to a sales inquiry - I purchased my SSTran and Rangemaster transmitters used]

Jeff,

I have no idea why your emails are not getting through. They may be getting caught by the spam filters. I get an average of about 100 spam messages per day. The spam filters seem to do a very good job of catching just the real spam, but I know of one sender who got filtered because he had a link in his signature line to a web page at a domain with a "dot tk" suffix which triggered the spam filter. I periodically scan several hundred header lines in the junk folder, but I don't have time to look at every message.

I try to answer all emails, but some occasionally age out. I tend to procrastinate on emails from non-customers that ask detailed questions that would require a long time to compose an answer.

I completely ignore occasional silly emails that contain incomplete sentences, have no signature and are usually mailed from a cryptic gmail-type address.

It's all about time management.

Try contacting me through this board. I'm sure we can get to the root of the email problem.

Phil
