Low Power Hour No. 99, titled "Last Laugh," is the best show in this entire series. We become re-introduced to radio personality Tommy Mischke, recently of WCCO Minneapolis, Minnesota. Mischke muses on the definition of "indifference." We hear an example of his "Phantom Phone Calls" that got him his first radio job on KSTP St. Paul, and a moment from one of those early shows. Continuation of the large "Mischke Interview" brings us to the subject of depression, and a very serious explanation of the little understood condition. From The Phil Hendrie Show we get a Traffic Report, with many Low Power In the News stories, including Alex Jones encouraging the use of micro-transmitters, Buzz Burbank with word of "hemp capacitors" and "telepathy by internet," Allan Weiner at WBCQ and his special deal on shortwave airtime, already carrying shows from part 15 people Tha Dood and Free Thinker Radio. Buster Boatrocker commentary on FCC internet regulation. This month Gary Owens died at age 80 and we hear him on radio and recording. Our finale brings Pussy Riot with their first English language protest song, "I Can't Breath."

Thanks for all the entertainment. I rarely use the overused word amazing, but for your show I will make an exception. OMG, LPH is sooooo AMAZING!

Thank you very much Rich 26wheeler.
Say, you aren't Tom Wheeler, Chairman of the FCC are you? That would be something we should know about so we can beg for more antenna length or more milliWatts.
Meantime, Low Power Hour No. 99 has been re-released as Version 2.
Changes are slight... Length is condensed from 1-hour to 55-minutes using the "tempo change" tool in Audacity, and 3 words have been added to the script... "...on WCCO Minneapolis."
I can detect the speed-up caused by the time compression, but I think it might be acceptable.
It was MRAM 1500 who first tried time compression of the program using Adobe Audition and I followed his example.
Let me know what you think about the time-compression or any other aspect.
Versions 1 and 2 have been pulled and replaced by Version 3.
Low Power Hour No. 99 Version 3 contains the addition of the words..."...on WCCO Minneapolis..."...; the closing of a small gap; and restoration of the full-length of 1-Hour.
Version 2 was time-compressed to 55-minutes, but some portions sounded too fast and are not acceptable.
