ACCORDING TO PAUL THURST, ENGINEERING MEDIA BLOG, A LARGE SOLAR FLARE IS DUE TO HIT EARTH ON THE AFTERNOON OF MARCH 8.

By reading Paul Thurst's Blog more closely, the following corrections apply:
The solar flare will reach earth overnight, not in the afternoon, and North and South America will be facing away from the flare at the time.
Not too many cellphones or satellite TVs out there in the wild provinces in China, prolly won't make much difference to the farmers. Interesting to see how it affects Europe, tho',
I guess we'll see what happens.
Thanks, Carl!

The expression "course correction" describes when an airplane or ship gets back on coarse, whereas my expression "course incorrection" describes when I get further off course.....
Perhaps the solar flare is more than just a one time hit that missed us here in America...... I heard on the radio this afternoon that the solar blast is coming in continuously STARTING last night and lasting several days!
I'm spending the whole time in the car with the seat belt on, even when I'm parked.
What have you heard?
What about cellphones? Should I keep mine in my hip holster, or lock it in one of those yellow-and-black chevron striped metal boxes. Will it throw sparks and give me an RFB? ๐
"I heard on the radio this afternoon that the solar blast is coming in continuously STARTING last night and lasting several days."
Think of it as a stream of flame throwing intensively high powered Part 15 radiation from a sphere antenna where external influences upon that sphere antenna causes some or a lot or all of that emitting radiation to build up at one point on the sphere and emit the radiation in one direction until the influence stops.
The Sun is transitioning from the solar minimums cycle to the solar maximums cycle, which is every 11 years.
I would imagine the big gig in the sky hasn't shown us everything yet in what reality really is.
