I heard about this on Security Now, the computer show from TWiT Network.
I wonder if that trick would work with a car battery?
No, my title is silly.
Phil's question is very funny!
I just tried the car battery. A corner fell on my foot and broke my toe. The battery cracked and i had acid on my new shoes.
The video clearly shows the batteries being dropped on a flat surface. By dropping the car battery on your foot, you didn't faithfully duplicate the experiment. Keep trying until you miss your foot and report back.
Everyone knows a charged battery would be heavier with all those electrons stored in there.
Dead batteries would have to weigh less when they lose all those electrons.
Same goes for capacitors too I bet...
Working on that now Phil.
