have i been put on ignore by the membership? i posted a very good idea under antennas and would have though phil, rich, or carl would respond to it. nada, zip no one did. and rick isn't responding to my emails something wierd is up.

Are you referring to your post about a 3M loop antenna?
If so, I passed it by because I know that small loop antennas don't perform nearly as well as short vertical antennas for TRANSMITTING, and I thought this was discussed previously. They do perform exceedingly well for receiving, due to their electrostatic noise rejection.
I think Rich may have posted on this before. I don't remember. Maybe he can step in here to supply some analysis.
Hi kc8gpd, I saw that post and the antenna looked very nicely built.
I didn't have any idea how it might do in an AM medium wave situation, so I had nothing to post.
But I very much appreciate seeing it.
I didn't comment because this subject has been discussed at length on this board in previous years, including those when kc8gpd was active here.
