No great loss.

Ya know it still kills me that this discussion is always the norm.

Face it, Hitler is NOT dead. He is alive and well.

Cut throat is a very live and well phrase as well.

Now, why the hell should anyone hide behind a VPN or anything else just to live on the net and participate in a discussion?

I don't agree that going AM is going to stop this mad man. There is NO PLEASING some people who love having power over others.

The two facedness is NOT going to end....the back stabbing will never cease. The name calling will continue. This is because BIG EGOS are running amoke on the web and sadly, the most egotisicle person happens to have a hand in this hobby.

I feel it is wrong for someone to use a website to slander other people and I also feel it is wrong to be stiffeled elsewhere because some madman threatens the site owner.

If this was my site, I'd let the chips fall as they may. Lawsuits? Let him waste his money trying, he often goes above the laws with his rants.

Me? I AM SILL HERE. The clock is still ticking and when it strikes that unknown hour, TWO people in America is going to wish they never messed with me in the first place.

So let them play their baby games. Let them threaten, the more threats and harrassment the better to bring down the Hilter regime.

Tick..tock..tick..tock....BOOM!!! Bye..bye baby! Another one bites the DUST!!!!

P.S. This site needs a spell check added to the forum.

Bruce.

he has to be pushing mid to late 50's, when he retires i do beleive that site will retire with him as no one at the school will care enough to take over for him and heck who knows if part 15 will be around in another 10 or so years the way things seem to be going.

Keep this in mind...an engineer whether an SBE certified one or one that went to school for such is not the FCC's best friend.

If that was the case, there would never be NAL's which is where licensed stations got sited for engineer related issues. It is up to the engineer to make sure the station goes over to it's night time power on AM or the DA is set for night time settings.

So, just because someone is an engineer, does not allow them to act as a Goverment official such as an agent. That is like me pulling over someone speeding in an automobile and telling them to slow down, that is like acting like a law enforcement official which is in it's self a crime.

Seldom do we speak that ENGINEERS are the people who make sure any given station is operating according to it's authorization. This includes antenna location on the tower, audio processing the list goes on and on what an engineer is responsible for and the fact that if those things are not correct, then the FCC has to act. Would you be best friends with someone who causes you to have to act on complaints?

So, mark my words, the clock is ticking...tick...tock...tick...tock.

Bruce.

Me, being in Canada(Toronto) I will stay on FM unless there is absolutely no free space and I'm forced to go AM with no choice. Technically the Talking House even though Part 15 certified which is the same as RSS-210 here really can't be used here because it's not Industry Canada certified. But on AM I don't think anyone would be bothered. I would get the newer version(I A.M. Radio) with the enchanced Audio....would be still a hell of a lot less expensive than the others, with the auto antenna tuning and digital station display....but fortunately we have BETS-1 so as long as there's space FM is the way to go here. AM is a last resort only. If I move out of Toronto north of here there would be a lot more space on dial.

One thing about AM is that its messy. Meaning you have to make or find a good indoor antenna if your land lord won't allow outside antennas. The best I've done to a portable boom box so far is 300 Ft then it gets noisy. I have not been able to walk till it was gone and I'm certainly hoping a car Radio can receive further or maybe a better receiver. I'm also hoping a better home brew indoor antenna will get me way more than that. I'm hoping for at least ¼ mile to a mile anyway. Since there is a lot of hydro here when you get under the power lines wrapping the wie around the cord to try and do inductance carrier current won't work here. A friend tried that and it did sort of act like carrier current on his talking house. I don't know how to wire into the electrical box for carrier current and doubt the iAM Radio transmitter would have enough power for that to really work. Even if somehow a Talking Sign ATU for outdoor could be modified to work with the iAM(Talking House) and I can put it in my room somehow I'd probably do better than the wire antenna. We'll have to see what can be done.

If you can put the wire antenna with the talking house to hang outside a window it might work best. Also as soon as night time comes the signal might get lost in the clutter of stations on top of it.

Its an old house about 200 yrs old and the windows are painted shut.  I thought about hanging the wire outside but can't do it.  Too bad I can't connect an outdoor unit to where the old satellie TV use to be connected.  I had a room mate that installed Satellite TV and it was removed.  The wire from my room went to the old TV dish's LNB.  If only I could have found the end of that wire maybe I'd have gotten lucky but can't find it. If I had I could have sat an ATU where the old dish was only thing is the kids could get ahold of it since it was not in a good area.  However there is a jack on the wall and if I could have gone outside and disconnected the non working cable from the jack I could have connected an ATU to it possibly.  That one would have been on the side of the house on the ground however.  The only thing I can really do is make a good indoor antenna and make it work.  When I did the range test It was daytime not night time.  And it was with a boombox.  It was about 300 feet and I started to hear noise.  But maybe if I went further the noise could have gone away I don't know.  I also noticed when I tried to play the audio from my phone to the transmitter it didn't sound that good.  So I'd have to be careful how I linked it if I ever was able to put it upstairs.  I don't know how well my WiFi would work up there either or I'd simply take over that one room if the room mate moved out.  Somehow I got to do better than 300 Ft because I know AM can go a mile or more as reported.  There is an antenna called the DXR 500 by Golddar. It is about 9 feet when fully extended and has a lead that you can clip to a receiver.  I bet I could transmit with the antenna since it is not amplified.  Since it sits on a desk it could work and better than that wire antenna.

The biggest problam they have with their Secret Meeting Site is keeping trust among themselves. They never know which one is sending me e-mails containing minutes of each meeting.

we have a couple operatives from here who are registered over there. i am quite sure if there was anything of a real serious nature (beyond the usual BS we have publicaly seen so far) being talked about us behind the iron curtain that one of these individuals would certainly give one of us a heads up in private email.

Webmaster and his disciples need to keep that in mind when spewing their crap over there even in private.

Wait...looking back to post #1 of this topic, someone here was accused of being a theif by the commander if chief over there??

The same person who stoled images of my studio and still hosts them in his hidden conference room (secret meeting site) under the title "hunting down a pirate"? But he has the right to boldly stand and say TheLegacy posted something here that he didn't authorize him to do so, so he's calling him a theif?

Seriously...is that guy playing with a full deck of cards? Are we talking about an adult here?

Seems to me it's the ole' don't do as I do, but do what I say trick huh?

A cease and decist warrant can very quickly open up that secret meeting place and hold those involved accountable. Besides learning engineering, some people should study the law books about what is and isn't slanderous activity or criminal harassment.

Bruce.

Once I posted a link here at part15(dot)us about something I read about over there at that other site, but I didn't give credit to them because it was a publicly available link, and then I read that "the kiddies website is stealing material and giving no mention of the source."

The next time I saw something there that I linked here I gave full credit to hobbybroadcaster.net, and they never said a word, not even a thank you.

My feelings are still hurt.

THIS JUST IN: I took a quick look just in time to say the man of two faces, Carmine5, post this: "One of the saving graces of the HB site is the absence of R. Fry."

Watch out.

Let me just say, one of the saving graces of part15(dot)us is the presence of R. Fry. This may surprise some, who may mistakenly think I disagree with R. from time to time, but the fact is he gives wonderful contrast to the palette of what we offer here at part15. Gives full meaning to the word "rich."

Even more amazing is the fact that Carmine5 will be back to talk to us like his long lost friend. He is so wonderful I wish we could hold hands.

Well Whois does not list him as the site registrant...it is registered under a generic name.

Bruce.
