No, not for soda pop but for a microphone. I came across this vid where the host instructs on building an inexpensive microphone pop filter. As a bonus, you will learn how to make a cheap boom which could hold other things.

IT is one of life's uplifting satisfactions to collect sundry parts from hardware and other goods stores and assemble them into a useful component, like this DIY pop-filter.

Watching the parts fit together on this video is a great delight.

It leaves me with the idea of connecting voltage to the 3-conductors in the Romex and hang an ON THE AIR light on top of the filter!
