Hey matt - why's you website black with nothing there? Just wondering...
Check this out:

Make sure to read the entire website carefully and then draw your own conclusions.
I just wanted to add my .02 I wouldnt worry about it. First of all the chances of them finding you station is very small. Especially if you are a Part 15 FM. Second if they do find you u can tell them you are just using it for your own personal listening. Isnt that what part 15 transmitters were made for in the first place??? Third, YOU are not a broadcaster according to the fcc rules so therefore they cant legally collect anything from you.
Unforgiven:
1. On simulcasting (I assume by Part 15) an Internet station: Good question. The lawyers could probably fight over this for some time. This could depend on:
a. How far does the signal go outside your house?
b. Are you simulcasting in the AM or FM broadcast bands, or on another frequency like 49 MHz (goes to whether your "performance" is public or not)?
c. Are you purely recasting the Internet feed, or are you injecting any other audio (goes to whether your "performance" is intended for anyone else besides the occupants of your house)?
2. On a separate antenna: If you are within the signal strength limits (measured in uV/m at a given distance in meters from the most strongly radiating object), you are always good to go.
