BBNC News took 2 weeks off now it is a once a week 30 to 40 min show lame I really liked the daily news show. Any good alternative for a good 10 to 15 min free daily news program??

I have used BBC World News for a while. It's still available:
They list the current and several previous shows which are around 45 to 50 minutes long.
On their page, right click the link and "save as".

The BBC World News podcast is updated daily or so I thought.
The current podcast is for today as of this note.
