Thinking back I recall a particular job that I applied for even though it was filled by someone else and there was no actual opening. I felt I could do a better job.
By surprise I got a call offering me the job when it came open unexpectedly, and I met management to negotiate terms of employment and was offered a somewhat low rate of pay, so I took a day to consider the offer.
Because the job itself was one I really looked forward to doing I accepted the low figure and went to work. That was over 30-years ago.
Now I've changed my mind and believe they would have agreed to a higher fee, so I'm thinking about calling and telling them that I've changed my mind.
If I collect enough back pay I'll buy a new transmitter.
