Fredericton's New Country 92.3 and the Nashwaaksis Lions Club are hosting a special Drive-in Radio Bingo night, and you're invited.
You can play Radio Bingo as normal from home, but today only we also invite you to join us for an evening of fun, food, and friendly competition, all from the comfort of your car.
Event Details:
Date: Wednesday, October 1st
Time: The event opens at 6:30 PM, with bingo starting at 8:00 PM.
Location: 495 Prospect Street
Bonus: First 20 cars get one free bingo card! Door prizes after bingo.
What to Expect:
The fun starts right when you arrive! We'll be offering tours of the radio station and serving up a free barbecue (donations to the Lions club accepted) for everyone.
When it's game time, make sure you have your flashlight and cellphone ready to play. All bingo wins must be phoned in as usual and there will be no in-person checking of cards. Bingo cards will be available for purchase on-site, and cards purchased at usual retailers are also playable.

.. actually I don't think that 2020 ad was the same event but it took was a Canadian radio bingo operation.

In New Jersey, this video (beginning around the 2:30 minute mark) highlights their Drive-in Bingo events which at first they were afraid was going to be a fail because people in the back of the parking lots were having trouble hearing the numbers..
It's incredible that most of these operations apparently never even considered using part 15 radio, but there is at least one that did, and still do right now in California..
