Last night I watched the movie with Jodie Foster "Contact". I think it's been almost 20 years since watched it last time.. One thing that was very evident to me this time watching it was that from the very first seconds of the opening credits on into several parts of the film was the relationship to radio waves... I guess it wasn't so striking to me before because at the time hadn't been interested or even knew about part 15 broadcasting..
No, it has nothing to do with part 15, but the radio signal focus did strike me. Plus it was a good movie. Surprised I hadn't seen it in so long. Watched it for free uncut on the RukoChannel, surprisingly it had no commercials at all. Another good one was "Love & Mercy" about Brian Wilson, which mostly focused around the recording of their "Pet Sounds" album. It was free and uncut too, watched it a week or two ago for the first time.
That concludes my review of now playing on a Ruko near you..
Me being a Beach Boy fan, in fact my favorite band of all time and I haven't even seen Love and Mercy.
Funny. I watched "Contact" yesterday as well. Being a Ham Radio guy I picked right up on the beginning.
