Occasionally I search Google News for recent FCC "Part 15", the results of which usually don't amount to anything in regard to our hobby - and today's search was no different, but I couldn't resist but to still mention this news. From the Dec. 9, 2025, PRESS RELEASE:
"... Electronic emissions testing is required by the FCC for certain electronic devices—primarily those that emit radio frequency (RF) energy—before they can be marketed or sold in the United States. Cannabix has received an ISO/IEC 17025 accredited test report confirming compliance with electronic emissions standards.
The electronic emissions testing for the Cannabix BCU was conducted in accordance with CFR Title 47 FCC Part 15 for the U.S. market. Additionally, testing was completed in conformance with ICES-003 Issue 7, the Canadian standard for electronic devices published by Innovation, Science and Economic Development Canada (ISED). Pot is legal in 42 states, where are they going to use these?
I agree with that for drivers but at a work place? What you do on your own time is not the workplace business. What if someone smoked or ate some marijuana the previous evening would it still show up on this test in the morning? How long does it take for weed to leave your system and not be detected? I don't agree with workplaces. If it is a legal product a workplace can't tell you what you can't do when you are on your own time. And no I don't do it. This will be abused by companies trying to tell employees how to live.
@mark I agree with that, but recreational use is legal in 42 states, so... Oh, right.. Alcohol is also legal in all states but you can't drive under its influence.. I guess it makes sense now, I just wasn't thinking.

I'm not sure, I can think it can be detected for weeks but really have no idea, never had to be tested or deal with the legality issues in anyway (although I did go to jail one time for having a joint in my front pocket during a traffic stop).
Years ago when I had my diner, had a few customers who told me they came to my place for burgers because my kieser roll buns were coated with poppy seeds (came from Kroger bakery) - they said they had to be tested every two weeks for pot and that those poppy seed showed up as positive in the test, and they would explain it away by saying they ate at my diner almost everyday - Supposably that kept them out of trouble, but I always doubted that was a legitimate story, but I actually had several who told me that
