So I've seen comments that some of you have copies of KDX Radio broadcasts.
I respectfully request that an archive be made where you can all upload those shows to archive.org, or other.
Also, upload to that archive a one page synopsis of what KDX was up to, and a small blurb about Part 15 as a hobby.
Yeah, I asked the same in another thread. You know what frustrating is that I have hundreds of his "Low Power Hour" episodes archived (amongst other countless files) in my old google drive, but I've been locked out of my account for 3 years now and no matter what steps I take I cant regain access to it (which is rather disappointing because I've had that email over 20 years).
But anyway.. I've already tried the internet archive and all I've got from there is 3 LPHs and a couple other Blare on Air episodes. He was always moving his directory of archived mp3s around, always changing the links around... If he hadn't of always been doing that then most all of it could be accessed now, but he was always reorganizing, so the internet archive had little opportunity to catch them.
I've been meaning to contact Wave Farm (WGXC) ... "Low Power Hour aired on WGXC from May 2013 to May 2017. Hosted by Carl Blare from KDXradio.com. The show covers radio broadcasting, and microbroadcasting."
https://wavefarm.org/radio/wgxc
Thinking he probably still has an archive of those mp3s, ive been intending to inquire, but decided to wait a little longer to make sure Carl has indeed passed.
But really it seems to me someone here must have quite a few of them here.
I don't have any LPH's, but I do have a number of Blare on Air's that I was playing at one point on my station.
Maybe Mram has some. I know the two had differences later but he used to be a fan of his shows.
Haven't heard back from Wave Farm yet, but here's the only mp3s (10) that the internet archive was able to retain copies of the Low Power Hour and Blare On Air programs...
...Well, I'm having difficulty uploading them right now for some reason, heres one, but there are 10 of them, theres not a way to give a direct link but go to https://web.archive.org/details/http://kdxradio.com/ and use the *.mp3 tags to narrow it down
In response to request Mram (Bob) has provided a temporary link to 230 of the "Blare Lite" episodes, and about a dozen of Carl's "How To Do It" episodes.for downloading for a limited time https://mbcf.boards.net/thread/3151/carl-blare-power-hour-archives.
That's a pretty substantial start, but I'm still hoping for more Low Power Hours.
Thanks again to Mram
Mram put all the files he has into a single zip file to make it easier to download. Boomer also sent me about 65 mp3s of Carl's show that he had, I'm currently uploading all of them to my google drive (about 3gigs of total shows so far), I havent organized them yet and some might be duplicates, but it's a good start. Still aching for more of the LPH episodes, still havent heard back from Wave Farm yet..
I'm thinking uploading them all to the internet archive is a good place for them. and of course here.
I don't have any LPH's, but I do have a number of Blare on Air's that I was playing at one point on my station.
Blare on Air, Blare Lite, Low Power Hours, How to do it episodes.. so far I have at least a few of each, but far from complete. We'll have to compare what we got and get them all in one place.
Is it possible for multiple users to upload to the same place on Archive?
@centinel I think so but I've never done it. but I think anyone can.
Do you have some of his shows?
Ok here's what we have so far. Most of them came from Mram and Boomer, others came from the internet archive, and I found one or two. I uploaded them to my google drive, anyone with the link can download, I categorized them into folders of each program.
So far we have... Adventures in the 3rd Dementia (2), Blare OnAir (3), Blare OnAir Lite (284), Carls Food Truck (2), Last Minute Radio Theater ( 3), The Low Power Hour (9), The Sunday Morning News (2), and then only 1 episode of KDX Symphony, and Everyday. There's also several short format miscellaneous.

By the way @mark could you move this to all member announcements catagory so it doest get buried?
bump
Calen over at Wave Farm had replied to me on the 7th and I just now noticed it.. Can't believe I missed it!
I just subscribed a trial run to upgrade my Dropbox because it makes it a lot easier to transfer copies from his dropbox to mine because it's a lot easier and faster than downloading to my phone then uploading back up to me google drive..
Anyway, here's 10 gigs of Carl's Low Power Hours thanks to Wave Farm
Dropbox File (Private or Invalid)
I really need to get these all up to their own catagory on the Internet Archive, but I haven't taken steps to sign up and figure out how it's done yet - I'm sure it's not difficult, I just hadn't got around to it yet.
But for now LPH are available via my Dropbox link above and the Blair Lite and others are available in my google drive link (also shown above)
Thank you for this.
