"Free Talk Live" is talking about something to do with tax rules, but I haven't been listening very closely.
"Democracy Now" will be on next, but I don't know what the topics will be.
Being Monday, Harry Shearer "le Show" will be on, followed by "Law and Disorder" with the civil rights attorney hosts, and "Atheist Experience" which is always fun because Christians call in and try to explain why the atheists are wrong.
I am thinking about doing a Blare OnAir live show from the TeamSpeak room because I have many ideas to talk about. Will you have time to join me?

Meanwhile, sitting at the control desk, we are calculating a second radio station to be launched very soon.
For several years I've been threatening to open Radio Station KHZ as an "indoor antenna experimental station", and the idea has grown to use KHZ both for that purpose and function as a permanent 2nd station.
We face an ice storm this afternoon.
In a matter of minutes it will be the weekly "Philosophy Talk" program live on stage with an audience, two Stanford philosophy professors and their special guests hold a mock debate on some aspect of existence, belief, psychological theories, politics and what-not, never coming to a conclusion.
Then the weekly TUC Radio with Maria Gilardin tonight bringing Part 2 of a speech from Daniel Elsberg comparing the nuclear scare during the Vietnam era to the rising nuclear tensions under today's crackpot regime.

Days later since we last checked in, Harry Schearer and his "le Show" is on, as he files through a number of recent events and makes wry comments, as he has done for over 30 years on radio!
You may be aware of Mr. Shearer, the voice behind many of the characters on "The Simpsons" and movie actor in several Christopher Guest comedies.
I'm just back from a trip to "Save-So-Much", my food store of choice, and noticed that the customers all looked closer to death than they had the last time.
Except for this one young woman in dark blue medical garb with her extraordinary figure and stunning walk. I was impressed that she'd made it this far without being weighed down by motherhood several times over. Maybe she knows a guidance doctor who protects her from the vulgar world.
And now back to the program.
Up early to check on possible ice storm but it looks dry out on campus.
For about the past two weeks the all night stretch on KDX has been filled by what the artists call "Dark Ambient", available in large quantities free under Creative Commons license from the Internet Archive.
In general it sounds like air standing still or a river that barely moves in the darkness where you can't see it. For me it is extremely compatible with sleep and the silence of the night. I'd like to dedicate a whole station to it, which is why I've been talking about running 3 different stations. It's a complete departure from the nasty juvenalia pouring out of deplorable D.C.
