It usually ludicrous and surreal to me whenever anyone has the audacity to assume they can decide to ban a book or song but it's always been a common trait of our society's.. Here they describe why the following songs had been banned .

Some of those on that list are a mystery to me why they would be banned anywhere but the site didn't let me get passed the first song.....maybe wanted a subscription.
But one song not on the list is Mule Skinner Blues by the Fendermen that was a number one song back in 1961 and plainly says at the end of the last verse "if you don't like your job then go "blank blank blank" yourself."
Some of them....Will You Still Love Me Tomorrow, God Only Knows, Ding Dong The Witch Is Dead, Puff The Magic Dragon???...and several others I have no clue what could be the offending thing. A lot of songs that get looked down on is because the real meaning or what it is really about is misunderstood.
Also surprised that I Shot Mr Lee by the Bobbettes isn't on that list?
Also Itchycoo Park by the Small Faces isn't on the list. Bad message there. What about Cherry Hill Park by Billy Joe Royal?
Who knows why one song is picked on but other more questionable ones are not.
