On a recent program it was said that philosophy teachers are not philosophers. They said that it's very difficult to be a philosopher. That got me to wondering what I am, since I'm not a philosophy teacher and I hesitate to presume I am an actual philosopher. Until I ask Meta.ai I'm going to refer to myself as a philosophist: a philosophy scholar; a student of philosophy.
