We need to tell congress to stop trying to invade our privacy on the internet and to stop trying to ram innovation stifling and privacy robbing internet legislation down our throats!!! these internet legislation have the potential to directly affect our ability to communicate here. it would spell a very bad day for part 15 us if any of this came to pass.

Imagine it all being tied into an intricate network combining
your Internet use, your credit card purchases, your tax records,
your health records . . .

Imagine the Internet – and with it, the entire technological
revolution – SHUT DOWN with a ball of higher taxes, government
snooping, and bureaucratic red tape.

And just consider the torrent of massive new regulatory schemes
in Congress, including:

*** The Cyber Intelligence Sharing and Protection Act (CISPA),
which would gut privacy laws and allow Internet providers and
websites to hand over personal data to ANY agency in the federal
government;

*** Internet Sales Taxes designed to hike the price of goods
sold over the Internet;

*** The Stop Online Piracy Act (SOPA), which would give the
government the power to shut down any website simply because
someone made the “allegation” there was a copyright violation;

*** The Internet “Kill Switch,” which would allow the President
to shut down the entire Internet at a moment’s notice.

Already, the FCC – which is supposed to assign spectrum rights
through transparent, market-based auctions – is using its power
to shackle new competition be REFUSING to perform its job.

Spectrum is the invisible airwaves that mobile devices, broadcast
television, and FM radio use to communicate.

Private ownership of spectrum is forbidden by government.

And since government controls the rights, the FCC gets to pick
the winners and the losers – denying marketplace entry on a whim
and effectively creating the largest corporate welfare program in
history!

That’s not even the half of it.

In just a few months, the United Nations is meeting to come up
with even more recommendations for Internet regulations on a
GLOBAL scale!

robert, these are not fights you and I can afford to lose.

But without lightening-fast response by you and me to these
fights going on RIGHT NOW, I’m afraid our government will whittle
away Internet speed, access, privacy down to virtually nothing.

And with it, strike a death blow to our liberty movement.

After all, the Internet has been a critical tool in rallying more
and more Americans to our cause over these past few years.

What was it…oh the market was going to decide.

Well for decades now, other countries like Australia and Japan and Canada have enjoyed AM Stereo radio, while here in the USA we are graciously accepting 5khz of narrow bandwidth sounding crud piled on top a layer of HD digital hash garbage.

Many have wondered just how good does that C-QUAM AM Stereo sound anyway. They have never heard it before, or even recall hearing any AM Stereo signal even back during the “let the market decide and crash it” days.

Well very soon, once I get a few more things in order, all of you, the entire world will be able to hear what an AM Stereo station sounds like via your computer and my station’s 128kps 44.1Khz Steremp3 stream.

Here is how it will work.

A Sony ST-JX220A receiver, modified to tune the expanded AM band, picks up the 1670 C-QUAM signal. The line outputs are then fed directly into the encoding computer’s sound card line input. The encoder is set for 128kps, 44.1Khz sampling stereo mp3 stream.

You will hear the AM stereo signal in its full fidelity. No stupid NRSC curve on it, no “loudness war” nonsense processing on it, just pure wide range AM Hi-Fi stereo audio as it is meant to be heard, no alterations to that received signal or its audio out the back.

The only processor in use is at the audio input to the C-QUAM exciter, a Behringer 9024.

tired of every time i turn on the damn TV i see the two biggest turd er candidates for president slinging s*** at one another, i’m sick and tired of the same theme from all of them, balance the budget on the backs of those least able to afford it the middle class, poor, and disabled. heaven forbid we take a chunk out of that big fat defense budget pie and ask the billionaires to put a little more into the pie at least the same percentage as the middle class. nope tax the middle class more, reduce and/or cut off benefits to the poor and disabled.

i haven’t turned on the tv in a week because i have gotten exhausted mentally from political s*** slinging overload.

It’s unbelievable, but trademark and copyright holders really are trying to take away your right to sell things that you own.

Congressmen Adam Smith and Justin Amash will put forth an amendment to make it clear that the military does not have the power to arrest and indefinitely detain civilians without charging or trying them.

this is an off topic political post but this has a potential to directly affect us as a group and everyone needs to be made aware of this very dangerous legislation. it has been posted on other part 15 forums and most every forum as this has the potential to impact how we communicate on the net if it is not stopped.
