I play World of Warcraft but seriously i have to ask this question, WHY is this post on a hobby site such as Part15.us when clearly radio has nothing to do with that game?? Not to mention that it is against Blizzard Entertainment Terms of Service to buy gold for use in-game… Someone, throw me a bone here.

Take a good look at that post. It contains links to a website peddling something. Always a new member and always at the very least 1 post and never seen again.
That’s why you find it here in a radio hobby forum.
The correct term for those are “Trolling Sales Posts”.
It is where someone or someone’s who have something to sell or attempting to earn commissions off sales, or lure people to click on an unfamiliar link and BAM…trouble.
Happens in any forum in existence.
Advertising in action….till the post is removed by the admins.

We have the same thing in-game
RFB we have the same problem in-game (world of warcraft) the gold spammers try to lure players into buying gold and power leveling of your characters.
Basically your turning over your account details to a company promising gold and to level your character up to the maximum level while they keep your gold earned from quests and drops. Or you can pay x amount of US/EU dollars for in-game gold so your character can level up professions or junk from the auction house. Problem is, this is against Blizzard Entertainments Terms of Service and usually causes a player to be banned from the game for life.
The gold spammers have been pretty creative when they spam chat with their sales pitches or creating a bunch of characters then kill them in a major city, they use the corpses to spell out buygold dot com or something advertising their trade.
Annoying to say the least.Comical but annoying.
