Ken Norris of Friday Harbor Tiny Radio said he’s be down for a few days with surgery, but hasn’t been heard back in the expected time. One good sign is his website going strong and recently updated.
Bruce Micro 1690/1700 Dog Radio Studio 2 shared a disturbing note with us declaring a health condition that would pull him away for awhile.
We hope to see you both back online with your good input and good health.

I’m still out here, just moving very
slowly.
This is not a life threatening situation-
it’s just too much life. And yes, I was
in the hospital. That’s a long story.
Things are slowly getting better. Life
is an elephant and I’m a one celled creature.
I’ll tell you and the guys one Part 15 thing that
happened. On a lark I tried to adjust the internal
LEDs in the Gates VU meter in my Gates Studioette.
I broke the meter movement. I should be left it
alone. I tried to mount in another smaller VU meter
and also broke the movement on that one. I have a
third meter (that is smaller than the original.) I’m
going to take a long time with that one. (Most of
this is being done just when I come home from the
night job.) A lot of messing with plastic and hardware
will be required to make this look good and look as
if it really belongs in the board. This is going to be
hard and will take a long time.
Oh – I have been working on a new loading coil for
my SS-Tran AMT-3000.
I’m still too tired to go to my jobs all of the time. Management
at both jobs has been extremely kind.
