Part 15 for Dogs – The inside story

I personally know people who make it a point to leave the tv on for their dog when they are away. There are even tv channels you can subscribe to just for dogs. There is actually a dog ice cream (no joke).

Dog publications often suggest leaving a radio playing while you’re gone. The sound will provide white noise to mask outside disturbances. The sound of a radio is also reassuring, since it is normally associated with your presence.

People go all out for their pets, perhaps it’s time to start a part 15 station for dogs. I read somewhere the 93.64% of all part 15 broadcasters have a dog. In a national study a survey was conducted and it was concluded that 96.9% of all dogs, if given a choice, prefer listening to radio instead of tv when their masters are away… but it doesn’t stop there..

The researchers were intriqued by the results and performed a follow-up survey to determine what kind of radio station those dogs would most prefer to hear. The results of the secondary survey had the researchers perplexed and surprised ..

The research team had expected responses to be in relation to genres; pop, rock, classical, talk, or perhaps artist, like Dean Martin, Julie Andrews, Iggy Pop, or Bob Scaggs.. But the results they received was something they never expected, nor comprehended… 98.96% of the dogs surveyed expressed a strong desire to listen to “Part 15 Radio”.

Now, it is commonly known that 97.8% of all individuals employed in the field of canine researcher are unaware of what part 15 radio is; So this created a dilema.. What are the dogs talking about??.. No one in the dog research facilty knew, and something had to be done or the survey would be deem incomplete.

The dogs were first examined by a reputable dog physiatrist to insure they were not delusional. All test indicated the animals were indeed of sound mind. A dog whisper was then flown in to determine if the dogs were just somehow being uncoropertive, but the whisperer insisted they were all good boys (and girls). As a last resort a dog pychic was secretly consulted, who had attempted to delve in to the animals minds to determine what he dogs meant by “Part 15 radio”.. But this only caused the mystery to deepen, because the only impressions the pychic received were a strange string of numbers;  15.209, 15.215, 15.219, an 73.3550.

Unfortunately 99.67% of all dog research survey takers do not know how to use the internet, and due to the inabilty of the research team to determine the meaning of Part 15 Radio, a descision was reluctantly made to scrap the enitre study to avoid public ridicule. All evidence was burned, and a goverment agency was brought in to advise and warn all participants not to disclose any of the information they had aquired, or they would suffer the consequences.

It is with great risk that I have revealed this information to you. You can do with it what you wish. It’s all true, I couldn’t make this stuff up.

So, now that you know, it’s up to us to do something about it.
