I installed a barcode reader which also lets you make your own “Info” barcode.

Barcode as Social Media
If enough people have barcode readers, we can use barcodes to send messages to anyone who “wipes” us or “swipes” us, whatever is the right term.
Messages may include but are not limited to:
– Request for a date;
– Admiring comment;
– Hate speech;
– Advertisement;
– Call me at (phone number);
– E-mail address;
– Lost dog notice;
– ALPB Part 15 Authorization Certficate.

The app I used is called the AT&T Code Scanner. The “QRCARD” data doesn’t have room for messages but it’s an easy way to share contact info.
I don’t think I’ll stick it on my forehead but I may stick it in emails and such.
Give It Time
As time goes on I think we’ll come up with even more uses for the MRAM Barcode, such as sticking one on our new ALPB Fake FCC License, on schematics and other drawings, on checks in payment of inflated internet service, as a new bumper sticker which will announce undying support for Ross Perot.
