Here a short blurb about an alumni from Scarlet Oaks Vocational School in Sharonville,Ohio.
This program was closed down a couple years ago but stories like this pop up from time to time.
The Radio and Television program is where I received my training.

Scarlet Oaks
I have fond memories of Scarlet Oaks. Though not a student there I did teach amateur radio theory classes there on behalf of the GCARC (Greater Cincinnati Amateur Radio Club) and saw many of my “graduates” become active on the local scene.
Nice story about the Delhi station.

Regret Not Visiting Sooner
Neil,
I regret not visiting the Radio and Television program sooner, as you know the school board turned in the license for WJVS-FM and the program was closed for good. I am a member of the WJVS-FM Alumni 88.3FM Facebook group.
It is a shame that WJVS-FM like so many other high school stations in Ohio has gone dark due to budget cuts or lack of interest.
From what i understand WLHS-FM Lakota High School is still broadcasting.
WCNE-FM Clermont Northeastern High School is no longer on the air either, but the station they shared a frequency with WOBO-FM is still very much an active part of the community.
I will never forget watching the clock with my had on the big button waiting for WAIF-FM to sign off so we could take over the channel to broadcast. And to be quite honest, i shed a tear every evening when we signed off. lol The Transmitter was an Armstrong 813 A , there is some speculation that this listing at Ebay might be the transmitter we used back then.
