Dear Affiliates and Radio Friends:

On behalf of the MICRO 1700, the Main Announcer of New Show Releases, who is on assignment, I announce…

Low Power Hour No. 50 is fresh from the slaughter house.

My morning illusion is spent doing some CB DXing, inspired by the CB postings from Sludge Broadcasting, combined with a visit to the Wintenna antenna test site;

Voice actor Billy West tells the panel at “The Skeptic’s Guide to the Universe” how bad he thinks radio has become;

Carl references the words “kitsch” and “Foley”;

Carl continues his ground studies with the book “Soil”;

Carl unveils his attempt at song writing;

Plus other jumbled content.

    Notice of New Version
    Every Low Power Hour contains a “V” number in its audiofile title.

    From time to time corrections or other changes are made to a particular Low Power Hour, in which case V1 would become V2, and so on.

    Low Power Hour No. 50 has been changed to V2.

    The change consists of removing a 2-minute portion just before the end which was an unidentified moment from a dramatic scene based around Rachmaninov’s 2nd Piano Concerto..

    Those two minutes have been replaced by a “Coming Distractions” spot regarding a forthcoming “infommercial edition” of The Low Power Hour.
