Very Interesting.
I just got finished listening to the low power hour, thanks to my neighbors who were kind enough to let me come over with my laptop and use their wifi. I can honestly say, the low power hour was very interesting. I enjoyed hearing about the Dood’s makeshift monitor. I used to have a malfunctioning tape deck with Vu meter, but I unfortunately threw it out a few years back. I bet a guy at the dump found it, and is jamming out to some Zeppelin right now.
At this rate, my monitor is going to be a 90s Sony CFS-200 boombox in a seperate room from the studio, with a best friend drinking cans of mountain dew (his WCHX-AM income because of taxes LOL) and monitoring the radio for issues. Sadly, my Somy CFS-200 lacks Vu meters. But it has an awesome AM tuner for a boombox. I’ve DXed on many occasions with it.
I just hope the mountain dew doesn’t make my best friend go nuts and change the station or turn off the transmitter (What’s this button do? ZAP HISSSSSSSSSSSSS!)
