You forgot… Carl, you may have forgotten putting a forward slash between the dot-com and the “lph”. The link doesn’t work.

Yeah, not only that Carl, but Yeah, not only that Carl, but also the link to the new mp3 while on your website doesn’t work either…
I bet this is some kind of marketing ploy to increase anticipation of the new episode. O.k. it worked, so now give us the correct link!

Many Thanks Many thanks everybody for pointing out the error of my ways.
I think the opening post is fixed, thanks to the edit feature, where I turned the dot into a slash.
On the website I corrected a lower case to upper case error, which possibly opens the door.
Computers are supposed to be thinking brains, but so far we do all their thinking for them.

Good program as always. Just Good program as always. Just listening to Jim describe the inside station of the train car was a cool visualization, almost seeing the staff within once upon a time.
It was a surprise to hear about Steven King being the new owner of it now!
I got curious and did a google, He and his wife own The Zone Corporation consisting of radio stations WZON, WZON-FM, and WKIT. but I didn’t catch any mention of the train car studio.. however, found it interesting that when King was a child, he witnessed a gruesome accident when one of his friends was struck and killed by a train.
But anyway, back to the show. I enjoyed listening to the history of his station even though it didn’t really pertain to part15.. it was still a great program, and like you said, it was more about the unique location,… and it could have been a part15 station if it wanted too.
Great guest. Great program.
As for the “all drum solo format” that your mystery caller let be known.. it was ok, but the “all kazoo solo format” heard on 1690AM is really much better.
Oh.. one more thing.. no biggie, but the comments concerning the “Low Power Hour Supplement, Canned Chili” that you attributed to RFB, was actually from my post!
Can I get any residuals or anything for that? Or should I be calling my lawyer?
Wait a minute, I don’t have a lawyer.
Well, nevermind then.

Air Train Can I air it on Saturday when I usually do the Low Power Hour broadcast (11:00am PDT)?

Clean Up After the Show Rich Powers, thank you for your good feedback. Yes you are right that I inadvertently attributed your comment to RFB, which I will fix one of two ways: A.) I’ll edit this show and release a V2 edition; or, B.) I’ll do a “make good” in the next show, or, C.) both.
In the show the guest mentioned the train car got sold to a train buff, so the author doesn’t have it.
I’ll be looking for that kazoo station, is it in Kalamazoo?
Ken, you can air LPH anytime at all. It is free to use.
Thank you very much for making the fun fun.

End 80 Credit is Repaired Version 2 of LPH 8 is now posted, with a repair giving correct credit to Rich Powers, Tybee Island Radio 1700 AM end80radio.com for naming the “Canned Chili” episode as a Supplement to LPH.
