Fall Back

November 6, 2011 by Carl Blare

Some locations return to Standard Time overnight.

At 2 AM Daylight, set your clock to 1 AM Standard and remember you did, or you may set it back again the next day.

Make sure only one person per clock sets the time back.

An asteroid between here and the moon on November 9? What part of the earth will it pass over? Will it stir up a breeze?

    Time….Is It On Your Side?
Most modern clocks…that is ones as of recent years, automatically change their time at the right time every time.

Do we have time to go further?

Computers will also automatically change the time at the right time every time.

More time than we can handle? If that is so, why does everyone say there is never enough time?!!

Time may be eternal but our patience is not… (the entity Q from Star Trek The Next Generation).

      The Real Rapture
Some of us are left behind by time.

I am using my spare hour wisely, blogging here as if there was no tomorrow.

Good rap music. Good rapture music.

      Wait… where are you going?

        Temporal Department
As they like to say in the temporal department….there is no time like the present.

Time for a cup of tea. Think I will take time to make the time to see if there is time enough to take the time for timing all my clocks together so they keep the right time so that next time I am on time with the times. 🙂

          Bureau of Standups
The Bureau of Standards has it easy. They don’t have to reset all their radio clock machines at WWV because they plunge right through time without the silly Daylight Time hoisted on them.

    Everyone Make It?
Well we all fell back last night and got up this morning with 1 hour gained….at least for those who are forced to do this very stupid time change nonsense.

There is no point in this bouncing back and forth with the clock twice a year. It serves no purpose in today’s society and actually disrupts things more than it helps. It has nothing to do with saving electricity or saving anything else. Its a phantom, a myth that changing our clocks back and forth twice a year helps anything.

After all the other far more important issues are resolved, I think the nation needs to rally and vote to abolish this way outdated and useless time change.
