Radio Streamiing Linear and Non-lLnear

At KDX our Icecast radio stream was ultra-linear by the fact that we ran programming based on our 'Schedule' page starting at 7 AM every morning. Deviations from this amounted to being 'off schedule' much like a train being late.

But the KDX Schedule page was recently dropped and the running of programs became random based on my own convenience (e.g., when I get around to it). This is still linear by the way one program follows another but is still not fully non-linear as could be the case in an audio editor.

It is a head bender.
