Range is 40 to 50 ft with a better antenna you might be able to get 15ft more. This would be about to same range as a wireless microphone. Those FM low power transmitters you can get online you can get 150ft to 200ft range with a car radio. Raspberry fm transmitter might be worth it to play around with since the whole setup cost under $65
