Mark Shannon cites poor health as reason for shutting down his popular WOQ part15/streaming station. He is a good example of how far someone who is dedicated can go with the hobby. You can catch the stream while its still on. As our friend Wyatt sez:"I keep coming back because, well, as I've said, entertainment is a drug.
And Radio is Crack.
Highly addictive, with minimal rewards.
But when things go right, it's magical."
I hope Wyatt is right and Mark gets healthy and comes back soon. I hate to see someone give up the hobby that they so love.

I hate to hear about WOQ going dark, hate even more why it is. Hope you get well soon, Mark, and I wish you the best.

I was sorry to see the news concerning WOQ, but Mark's health is much more important. Mark, I hope you get healthier soon so you can get your station back on the air!
