Our radio consultant, who is actually a restaurant consultant, has an opinion about the political conventioms now taking place.
For clarity we say that we looked for a "radio consultant" in the "R" section of the phone book and only found a restaurant consultant. That seemed good enough and there have been no regrets.
Her name is Jackie Sinclair and she mentions that Hillary never leaves tips.
She further says that the conventions as seen on TV are far lower class than the Jerry Lewis Telethons and paints a dismal picture of politics in the Homeland.
Some Part 15 radio stations attempt to report on the conventions but so far no one has heard them.
What's more important is a good meal well served by capable staff.
The actual Federal Communications Commission is only five people, appointed by the president and confirmed by the U.S. Senate.
With a new president we wonder what kind of commissioners will be appointed in the years to come. The two leading candidates each showed bad judgement in their VP choices, which might hint at what we can expect.
I'm not sure we give the present commission high esteem considering their fire-sale auctioning of spectrum that once brought free TV services now being recrafted to lock us as paying customers to access wireless dial-tone, as well as their helter-skelter hack job on the FM band. Say nothing of their violation of state-church separation by allowing religious broadcast licenses.
Things could get worse if a future commission comes for the part 15ers. Free speech is not in fashion with recent governments.

Remember Ted Cruz? He would have made a ridiculous president because his voice sounded like a 9-year old boy. If he said something like, "I am here to deliver the State of the Union," you would think the speech was coming from middle school.
When Bill Clinton was campaigning for president he totally blew his voice right out of its voice-coil by trying to speak too loudly, and has never recovered.
Now we have Hill Clinton whose voice has morphed since the beginning of her campaign, sounding more and more like a 16-year old boy. If she follows through with breaking the glass we'll be doing a double take to see why a kid is speaking from the Oval Office.
