Does this conception of reality mean that such conception is true if it cannot be proven logically or scientifically?

And why could NOT provable, physical reality be accepted by more than one person?

Now we're talking about Catholicism.

Heh-heh - youse guys are havin' a good time, eh?

Anyways, the FM field strength rule stands, and simple physics makes it nearly impossible, HAAT notwithstanding, to get any practical range out of it.

The only other solution I can think of is building a large constellation of perfectly sync'd stations, albeit you still can't interfere with licensed stations. Therefore its a challenge in which I wouldn't want to engage.

I think it easier to build a shoestring LPFM station.

Definitions from Radiolocator.com:

Fringe Coverage: Within this area, the station's signal will be very weak. You may be able to receive this station if you have a very good radio with a good antenna, but it's possible that interference from other stations may prevent you from picking up these stations at all.

The "local", "distant" and "fringe" lines on the FM maps correspond to the predicted 60, 50, and 40 dBu field strength contours respectively.

Fringe coverage of 40dBu is equivalent to 100uV/m. With a compliant FM transmitter producing the maximum of 250uV/m at 3 meters (9.8 ft or 118.1 inches), you will get 100uV/m at a distance of 7.5 meters (24.6 ft or 295.3 inches).

Mr. Rich(F) said, --  "Would such befuddlement be minimized or maybe eliminated by researching and buying an FM transmitter that had been provably FCC-certified to meet §15.239, and by installing/operating it without increasing its output power setting as shipped, and/or modifying the antenna supplied with it?"

No. Such befuddlement would remain in effect for the reason that... within the one reality... no certified FM transmitter could be equally in compliance at any frequency on the FM band with a single antenna size and power level.

Precise compliance could only exist by small adjustments in antenna length and power setting based on the frequency employed.

We know with confidence that the "compliance" of a certified FM transmitter is generally averaged based on the frequency used during certification.

The word "riddance" is a contraction of the words "rid" and "dance."

The FCC got rid of what would be a very busy work-load of compliance visits by setting the FM requirements so uselessly low that most unlicensed interests avoid the band as being useless.

Inspectors dance at the relief to their already busy workload of compliance issues.

While unlicensed practitioners feel deprived of a resource otherwise said to belong to the public, we should appreciate the already over-packed FM band crammed as it is with translators, boosters, LPFMs, and all manner of more powerful stations. This strangling of FM is perhaps the revenge of Major Edwin Armstrong who in his lifetime was cheated of recognition for his brilliant Frequency Modulation invention by wicked corporate forces.

Do your part. Avoid FM clutter.

The One True Religion is not the same thing as The One True Reality, but in either case MY religion and MY reality are the truth.

Every day my AMT3000 and 5000 transmitters deliver the best radio programs anywhere on the dial, and I enjoy it so much that I turn down invitations to go elsewhere and visit people who can't receive my station.

While listening in the yard using a portable radio it worries me when the postman or a neighbor stops to talk, because they interfere with the good programs. In my head I think, "Hurry up! Get to the point! I'm missing my show!"

When the stations are turned off at night even the silence is special, because I know that the next day that silence will fill up with more good programs.

I would guess that you enjoy your Part 15 radio station the same way.

With respect to our colleague Rich(F), who stated -  "There is only ONE reality," I have begun to search a mountain of written work in discussion of the subject, including a very worthwhile long-page on Wikipedia, but like the dictionary definition linked by Mr. (F) most accounts only define reality whereas we're in search of a quantity.

So I spoke with my sister on the subject, and her thoughts brought me to where I can tell you with indisputable accuracy that...

There are an infinite number of realities.

This is easily displayed by the obvious fact that everytime a change occurs reality is altered, such as with grass growing.

C. Blare opined:

There are an infinite number of realities.   This is easily displayed by the obvious fact that everytime a change occurs reality is altered, such as with grass growing.

But what if the infinite realities you perceive and present here, even with the indisputable accuracy you gained by talking to your sister, differ from the realities permitted for unlicensed systems by FCC Part 15?

Which reality ultimately will prevail when it comes to the operation and regulation of unlicensed systems in the AM/FM broadcast bands subject to FCC jurisdiction?

Yours, or that of the FCC?

Apples cannot be compared to oranges. Not even by the FCC.
