wasn't someone suppose to start publishing these to part 15 us in the library? what happened to that effort?
I think the problem is the huge gap in available documentation, most of which was taken off line when LPB went poof. About the only sources now are those who happen to have documentation on hand, and even that they may not have what is missing from what will be submitted to the library.
I am still trying to find the manual and schematic for the LPB AM-5 transmitter...and this one is not the small unit, it is a later version mounted up in the large cabinet like that of the LPB AM-30, uses the same final amplifier board with two smaller final transistors. So the manual to the older smaller LPB AM-5 unit will not do. This is just one example of the huge gap in documentation versus the hardware out there.

I have some LPB documentation which was given me by an engineer when a local college ended their carrier current operation.
I will make a list of what I have at a later time, however my scanner is not working right now, but I'll get it fixed.
im trying to find for the fms2000 still yet
My stack of LPB literature is almost an inch tick, but most of it amounts to advertising sheets, but here is a list of the few Instruction Prints:
Instruction Manual 2-20 Carrier Current System
which includes the Tx2-20 Transmitter & T-8 Power Line Interface
Instruction Manual RC-25B Transmitter
20-Watt Tube AM Transmitter
Installation Instructions RC-T1A Power Splitter
Instructions RC-T2A Impedance Matching & Coupling Unit
Installation Instructions for the RC-T2B Impedance Matching & Coupling Unit
Operating Instructions RC-T3A Coupling Unit
ALSO there are some LPB Tech Sheets here in the Library

I am looking for manuals for the S-22 and the Alpha 8A-S mixer boards...
anyone who cares to can donate LPB literature and manuals to me and i will start scanning them (as time permits) to pdf.
then we just need a host for them.
let me know.

i can give you a mail drop to send them to.
send postage if you would like them returned and i will do those who want manuals returned first.
it took me a month to scan a 400pg book so be aware the process of scanning is slow.
I have an LPB RC-6A, which
must be very close to the
5A schematic that you
made available. Thank you
very much!

Maybe the Library here at part15.com could host your schematics. I think there is already an LPB section.
While looking through my batch of LPB papers, I came across the 1972 advertising sheet for LPB 2 Watt Model 2A Transmitter & Coupler.
It really looks like the ideal backup, at least now that I have learned that in our particular CC setup, 2 Watts seems to do a fine job.
The accessories include: 1.) T5 Transmitter Test Set; (2) Extra crystal; (3.) Nems-Clarke field strength meter.
Ever run across one of these? Seen any on "Thee-Bay?"
