I built all these Science Fair P-Box kits when I was a kid. It took some willpower but I managed to stop myself from bidding on this. Fun, however.

Tim,
I resisted as well. Because of cost , I have resisted many kits coming across ebay , that one isn't too expensive but since I have a new SSTran i figured it would be one more thing to clutter up my already crowded house.
Luckily you didn't bid, apparently it's fake, and a new kit to give you the old kit experience. They try to fool you by dropping Radio Shack's name in the listing, but there's nothing about Science Fair, Realistic, P-Box or any of their other names on the kit.
The sin, of omission.
CLearly, upon closer attention paying, it's not an actual "vintage" kit. Nonetheless, it's very close even if it's a modern made P-box and set of parts. Still for someone who likes to build things and doesn't have a mountain of random parts in the basement ๐ it still appears to be a valid and fun project.
