Hi Everyone,

The Valley checking in here.

Hi Everyone,

The Valley checking in here.

You can sign up for a free Wordpress account ( http://wordpress.com/) and set it up with some listen links using Sam Broadcaster and Shoutcast to stream to the internet.

Here is my station's example:

At the same time you can broadcast over the airwaves as I do using a Talking House transmitter.

Have fun everyone!

The "how to listen" info, both on line and on air, perhaps with a coverage map and a link to one of those "how to bild AM BCB loop antennas" would be awesome!

The comments section of a blog is also a great way to connect with your community.

I have also added a function that displays the song currently playing and upcoming and past songs.

I wouldn't mind it if anyone has some time to tune in just to make sure people can tune in online.

The stream that is,
I use winamp for everything simply because it works.
Both streams were sounding good at 1:15 a.m. EST.

Great blog, i might have to take down my other pages and go with Wordpress.

Great job!

Hey Thanks for checking the stream!

I am using an eq cutoff after 10khz, and the streams are both at 40kbps at 24khz, but they somehow don't sound too terrible at the bit rate! I'm also running the rock AGC preset in SAM. Using the MP3 Encoder.

It still sounds better than it does on air, but nothing beats tuning in an actual radio!
