Underlying Physical Principles

There has been mention of underlying physical principles upon which all else is based. Yet we must ask, what resides above the underlayment?

Up here is where life is lived, certainly in accordance with what lays below, but according to a more fluid set of principles. Fluid because we have no ingrained idea of the principles underneath.

Religion informs us of overlaying values high overhead which constitute the only true and valid examples we should follow.
